Young London Plus Housing operates primarily in the greater London region working in partnership with local authorities, the NHS and private sector of Care Support Providers offering exempt supported accommodation to young people aged 18 and over. Our current housing portfolio stands at just above 100 licensed tenancies across London and the home counties providing a mix of shared and independent living accommodation. As a provider of exempt supported accommodation, we take our position seriously with the primary aim to operate within the parameters of “Supported Housing Regulatory Act 2023” offering high quality, well maintained and safe affordable homes, promoting choice and maximising the delivery for more accessible accommodation in the local surrounds.​We recognise tenancies can often end prematurely due to issues relating to the young person's ongoing welfare and or health concerns, therefore it's necessary for us to develop and maintain close working relationships with empathetic landlords to service we provide so that the young person are able to sustain their tenancy. In our experience we have found that living independently can be daunting after a period in care provision such as local authority Looked After Care services and or being Care Leavers. We therefore provide step by step guidance and housing management support that will help alleviate some of the common stresses caused by the transition into supported living.
